I won't ask what kind, but I wonder: if you are a monist, who or what is making that observation?

I have a offshoot of this. Basicly I believe sentience arises to help the universe understand itself. Plus a bit of reverse karmic balance. For every good thing, Something equally bad must happen. The universe doesn't care about humans, or any species in general really. Just that a balance is maintained. The concept that every action must have a equal and opposite reaction taken to a absurd scale. I try not to be human-centric about it but being what I am its kinda hard.
And as far as reincarnation I take the strictly scientific view that my molecules are reintegrated into the surrounding environment. So in that sense I am reincarnated to a certain extent. |
