For me as a Baha'i I accept both Jesus Christ and Prophet Miuhammad as Manifestations of God so i would agree with the Episcopal priest and it also is commendable i think to reconcile Islam and Christianity...

We are to realise that we are all beings.
All part of the same root.
Since somehow we do not realise that we choose a path / way/ religion to get back Home.
Whichever be the way / path /religion or a mix as nothing is stand alone somewhere they will be linked to time or thoughts but finally the goal is the same.
Differnces are all mind matter or else they are all one.
Till realisation happens mind rules and differences remain.
Once realised only Nothingness remains.

your religions clash fundamentally because to christians he is the son of god or is god, and the jews did not recognise him as their messiah, and they certainly dont want to see your messiah because thats the end of days for them isnt it ,and not just them watch out
