Biblical and Qur'anic quotes promoting peace and tolerance (punishment, paradise)

Hello there!

I was curious if you all would care to share some quotes from your respective religious texts which promote peace or tolerance, et cetera?

I just want a place to turn to, to see the love and tolerance that can exist among the Abrahamic religions. I'd also like for the quotes to be consistent with their context, and I invite constructive and respectful criticism.

I'll begin with Romans 14:19, from the New International Version of the Christian New Testament:
"Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification."

'You will not enter Paradise until you believe. And you will not believe until you love one another. And you will not love one another until you spread peace among you.' That's a Hadith. I'll have to find the exact source later.

If anyone slays a person
- unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land -
