If what is written is true then " loving of enemies " including Satan would be the great challenge. However it is of my opinion that the concept since it favours the unjust over the just is a deliberate insertion into truth in order to negate justice.

That would only have merit if the only people we ever see as enemies are those who are unjust. I haven't found that to be the case. Rather it is more common that the people that we see as unjust are those that we consider enemies.

Fascinating thread!

Lucifer was in charge of music in heaven and is not some red scaly creature. He was and still is a beautiful angel. He was very influential in heaven, because when he and God parted ways, he took 1/3 of the angels with him out of heaven.

He is the great deceiver and believes he will conquer God's armies. He is very powerful. Even after he is defeated and bound for a thousand years, he still will have a little reign on earth.

The problem with being a deceiver is, he has deceived himself. He believes he will win over Christ but his fate is to bow down before God and admit who is king before he and the Antichrist are thrown into the lake of fire.

You know that St. Isaac the Syrian (sometimes St. Isaac of Nineveh - pretty sure he must be a saint for you also as we, the OOs and the Assyrians all venerate him) used to pray for the salvation of Satan? I'm guessing that's the sort of love you mean and, whatever some others might say, such is a very Christian attitude. I'm also fairly sure I recall other saints doing the same, though St. Isaac's is the only name I remember.

If you are just and true then who else would you have as enemy besides those who are not ?

That is why earth is Lucifer's domain. I don't want this taken the wrong way because this is in a DIR thread, but it's my perspective that Lucifer and Satan are not the same. So from where I see things, hell is Satan's domain, but Lucifer's work is here on earth....just offering my point of view.

Yes, I can see how this makes perfect sense. What I see is something deeper...a mantra or something. Convince yourself and you can make it real. I have a question though. What if Lucifer never bows down before God?

I'm not trying to be contrary or argumentative. I'm just curious.
