I don't believe that God (except Jesus) looks like anyone or anything. I believe that everyone visualises the Father and the Spirit in their own way in order to associate with them however, and I have no problem with this as it is merely the way the human mind works - we don't like talking to faceless things.

When I meditate, I usually just hear a voice - sometimes male, sometimes female - that represents God speaking to me. In my mind, I often visualise God as a rather humble, gentle, aging, fatherly hippy (not of the LSD and free-love variety I hasten to add) who spends his days walking around a garden creating things. Somehow, the big Lord of heaven thing doesn't speak to me ><
