Religious tensions have been severe since 9/11 and have only worsend with the wall being put between Israel and Palestine. With the war in Iraq, Muslim-exremist terrorism, and territorial arguments in Jerusalem it is absolutely neccesary that we work to keep peace between Jews, Christians, and Muslims wherever possible. Its been proven that people hate what they fear and fear what they dont understand so the answer is in building understanding of oneanothers religious beliefs. Muslims, go to Christians and hear their beliefs out and then expalin what it is you believe. Christians and Jews look like they have such a close partnership but how much do they know abour eachother? Read eachothers scripture, visit a church, synagogue, or mosque (depending on your religion). By bringing the three Abrahamic faiths together and united then who can stand against us? When God's people lay down their arms and sit together at the same table we can accomplish peace in the middle east, we can share Jerusalem, we can and we should make this idea of peace into a reality. Instead of our religious leaders disrspecting other religions to attract converts they should be saying how their religion saves instead of how someone elses doesnt.

The day this happens i'm going bush (disappearing into nature).
Because it won't be long until the 3 united religions start targeting other beliefs.

Good question, James. We have to find a common ground to agree on and I can name several. The first one is Abraham; all three religions trace their roots back to Abraham, Jesus came from Abraham's bloodline on Isaac's side as did Muhammed on Ishmael's side making us literaly like brothers. The second is the Messiah; the Jews believe that the Messiah has not yet come but they do believe that upon his return God will pass final judgment and Christians & Muslims agree that Jesus is the Messiah and that his return will also bring the time of final judgment. Yes we dont all agree on who he is/was, if he has or hasnt already come, or if he is/isnt the son of God but we agree on his importance so its a start. The third is God; we all agree ther is only One, has always been and always will be no other but He. The Jews & Christians appear to have made peace (correct me if Im wrong) so why shouldnt Muslims & Christians begin a path on the road to peace, we have more in common than Im sure many would like to admit. As to the criticism against this by other religions I mean for this to be used in relation to all religions.
