Are men really such slobbering pigs that they can not hold a decent conversation with a woman who is not covered from head to foot, without going off in a frenzy?

Honestly, I don't know who that is more offenseive to, women or men.

Honestly Erin... we are. Take it from someone who has seen it first hand. Now I can't go on and say that about every man, but the fact is many men are like this unfortunately.

In Quran God asked men to cover before asking women to do so.

[30] Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. (Quran 24:30)


Then after that God asked women to cover as well in the next verse:


[31] And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss. (Quran 24:31)

One might ask, why women covering is different and we say, a man is not a woman and everybody knows that men look to the most uncover part of women to enjoy looking at it but women look at the most covered parts from men because men's naked body is not attractive the same as women.

Therefore, men have specific places where they should cover and women have their own as well.

I don't know about what you have just mentioned because i'm not aware of all hadiths but from the hadiths which i have read prophet Mohammed mentioned treating women in good way for the men around him then when the angel came to take the permission in taking his soul and asking him to choose whether to live forever then to go to heaven or to choose meeting God and heaven in that moment then prophet Mohammed said: "في الرفيق الأعلى" and in english it means if i'm not mistaken "to the best or high company" then after that the angel took his soul "peace and blessing be upon him", my beloved prophet.

By the way, prophet Mohammed have been forgiven all his sins in his life whether it was in his past or in the later in the future and even though while he was alive he was asking God to forgive him always and when they were asking him about it "because they think he doesn't need to ask for forgivness" he was answering them that he is thanking God for that and he was remembering Allah alot all the time and praying to him.

To be honest with you, everytime I hang out with my friends, whenever they see a pretty woman pass by, they start talking about how sexy she is.."hey look at her ***", "wow shes hot" and their eyes starts to gaze and explore every inch of her body. And that does not only happen here, but everywhere where there are men. Thats the way how most of men looks at women, by their physical attractiveness, its like their fate to do that. Just like diamonds, it attract thieves whenever its vulnerable. I feel really sad seeing how women show off their body to public, where are all those respect for themselves. Getting exploited and stripped in the name of art...where is...self-respect??

You've obviously never been in a group of women when a good looking guy walks by. It's universal and no respect of religion. I've witnessed a group of muslim women (covered in sacks) with their heads together, eyeing a handsome man and giggling like school girls. I've witnessed a group of young Amish women doing the same.

By your reasoning, men should be wearing sacks too.

That's incredibly disrespectful. I'm going to guess this was in America where there is a very high change they are choosing to dress that way themselves (and good for them!). I also highly doubt they were out wearing a potato sack and were instead wearing some sort of hijab.


If a woman chooses to wear revealing clothing she's branded a whore and some try to justify violating her.
If a woman chooses to dress conservatively she's called repressed and people whisper about her as she passes.

It's tiresome.
