The above is disingenuous my willingness to discuss Romans 1:16-17 and Romans 4:5 are simple counters. Further, I have been more than willing to discuss other things. Note:

As things stand and just with myself, you have ceded or failed to answer questions on:

1)The Apostasy
2) Determinism
3)Sola Scriptura

and now

4) Romans 1:16-17

Given there was no follow up I assume you also now understand and/or accept:

5) There is someone always willing to discuss the confused notion "the scriptures as sufficient revelation from God" (you have not taken up this invitation).
6) The distinction between Apostolic Succession and Mormon claims.
7) The meaning of inter-faith
8) Historical Christianity has been at enmity with itself
9) The claim of "different Christs" and "different Gospels" is a non sequitur.

The current refrain has been to stress discussing the entire Pauline corpus. This is how it plays out: Mormons accept the Pauline corpus in its entirety. Of course, as has been explained, this does not include ascribing to inerrancy which is an absurdity. Of course, Roman Catholics, Copts, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Methodists etc. also accept the entire Pauline corpus. None of these denominations hold to the same understanding. Therefore there is the text(s) and its myriad interpretations. An Evangelical like yourself of course also has an opinion on the meaning of the entire Pauline corpus. Simply referencing the text does not allow any resolution as the text, is simply the text. What one has to do is apply a hermeneutic. For a Mormon this is Modern Revelation. For one like yourself, given you reject Modern revelation what is that hermeneutic to be? Sola Scriptura (which you hold to) doesn't allow anything other than the text, but given there is the text and legions of understandings of it, what are you going to do? Are things simply reducible to the universe according to the understanding of Fish-Hunter? If not, what are you going to appeal to?
