You misunderstood.
The existence of a God creating the world is history, not science. ID is no more a science than the building of the World Trade Centre complex. Science has to do with
predictable results. Unless we can find a
predictable pattern to God's creation of Universes, it is not a science.
This has nothing to do with whether or not God created the world. God could have, but it would still not be a science.
