I got a one year old in my class that only speaks Spanish. Everyday at nap time she cries for her mom. I dont speak Spanish but does anyone know any phrases I could use to maybe calm her?

I would ask the baby's mom what does she do when she puts her baby to nap.

Not sure what would really calm a one year old baby other than speaking in soft tones or singing while you hold the baby in your arms.

Mami te ama (phonetically "Mame") - Mom loves you
Mami ya viene - (mom is coming soon)
Te amo - I love you
I would sing the song "Jesus loves you this I know" :) and Jesus loves the little children.

Hope you have success :)
