I hope you didn't hurt yourself thinking of that brilliant observation. Presumably, pregnant lepidopterists are often dangerous they are, indeed, extremists.
The ones who cause most damage to other people and property in the name of their cause.

An extremist is an extremist. If I'm killed by an extremist I am not really too concerned as to how "extreme" they were.

Postmodernism and Marxism generally have some fundamental and sometimes irreconcilable differences, so it's quite difficult for someone to be both.
In case anyone is curious where that bit of oxymoronic alarmism came from, though: It's a phrase that Jordan Peterson has thrown around on many occasions while smearing and misrepresenting people he disagrees with. Googling "postmodern neo-Marxism" should return many hits associated with arguments both from Jordan Peterson and critics of his misuse of the term.

And BTW, OF COURSE our smart enemies on the alt-right will pounce on the stupid things the far left does. The far left is pitching softballs to enemies that should NOT be underestimated.
Well, not to worry, since the forces of moderation will undoubtedly bomb them all back to the stone age at some point.
Violent ones who harm innocent people in order to pursue their goals, especially ones who believe in utopian violence.
Nazism, Marxism-Leninism and its offshoots (Stalinism, Maoism, etc.), eugenics, Manifest Destiny, and belief in forced conversions, among other ideologies and worldviews, are all examples of utopian (from the ideologue's perspective), millenarian ideologies seeking to bring about a societal transformation or major "overhaul" through violence. There have seldom been so much violence and bloodshed as when driven by a belief that they could bring about perfection of society or humanity. Utopian violence is by far one of the most pernicious and destructive forms of extremism.
Please explain all the recent one-sided campus riots?
You might be conflating 'extremist' with 'violent extremist' though?
Or is part of your definition of 'extremist' that they are violent?

I think, in general, that those who believe:
"My Faith is the best and better than your Faith, therefore you go to Hell, unless you convert; hence I evangelize"
Are the most dangerous
Why?
Because,
a) they usually are even unaware themselves that they trample the soul of those who do not believe or believe differently than them.
b) they arrogantly belittle other people's Faith or lack thereof, even while all the Scriptures I have read declare "being humble is one of the greatest virtues", and arrogance is one of the biggest obstacles on your Spiritual Quest.
And of all the arrogance, Spiritual arrogance is the worst, even God can't cure that (I have read, and it makes even sense)

Well, rationalists who need truth and objective order and normality can also be dangerous since they in effect don't accept diversity, but really need as a feeling normal.

People that have the attitude that their lives are superior and that a lot of others lives don't measure up nor suit their arrogant standards I would consider to be extreme and damaging.
Also people that can't maintain faithful, loyal relationships based on healthy moral principles are extremely dangerous.
A whoremonger is one who uses and gets used for wanton pleasure, and has no attitude to care for anything. They undermine stable society.
Fundamental religions like hell believing Christians, and Muslims undermine society making non believers an opposition to be defeated. Funny thing here is that I have family members like this, and I feel more sad for them than anything while at the same time I feel like they've wasted their lives and other people's lives spreading nonsense.
Be careful with those who feel they have all the answers.
Humanity at large gets caught up in needless wars that must be fought for many of these reasons.
Those who actively seek population decline are extremists.
