    I don't believe in a personal god. Mine is more a universal spirit that makes things run. Humans don't seem to be a favored creation, so I don't think there is a personal deity. Disclaimer: My opinion only. :)

    IMO, sex without any type of commitment becomes problematic if a child is conceived. Kids do better with a family to feel secure in.

    I think any decent god would care about your actions, not your beliefs. We are on this earth together, so we need to be caring and try to get along.

    Are you depressed and want to die? I don't know if I believe in heaven, but I don't see that precluding you from going there.

    These crazy bills never pass. The politicians have to know that banning abortion is very unpopular, even in conservative states. They don't seem to think about the long term effects of what they propose. Sex ed and birth control reduce abortion, banning doesn't.

    Sorry about your mom. I started downsizing and giving my friends pictures of themselves. I put family pictures up on Ancestry. My son probably won't care about any of our stuff, so I am trying to find good homes for the important stuff.
