I an apparently a hoodlum in an all Chinese mall. I literally was the only white guy in the entire mall, shocked several people, but one store the staff tag teamed me. 4 people followed me through the store. Every time i turned around one of them was watching me. I had fun with it. But it got me thinking, if i looked like i did 35 years ago…. I probably would have been taken out byvthe police

I thought China had opened it's doors to tourism (which apparently has increased 1200% over last year. You would think these security guard staff would gave been told to back off foreigners.

Wow. We pay for 3 cars monthly.

The Jag is €55 per month
The shopping trolley was €47 per month
The twins Ami is €36 a month

Three cars fully comprehensive with windscreen and recovery cover for not much more than yours

I think you're right, thieving mongrels.
Why is anyone buying insurance from someone
they believe is over-charging them? Possibly
because other carriers are even spendier.
Remember that they have costs, & those are
increasing as cars get more expensive to repair.
I know that my carrier is losing money on me
(after fixing Ms Sienna after hitting the deer).

It was a comparison by county. France compared to Australia.
French insurance companies also have their costs but manage a considerably lower premium.
I could also have added the UK but have no experience of them for the past 8 years, back then my premium was £430 per year, I'm sure it's increased by now, how much of an increase i just didn't know

It is, but if you are a foreigner in an area where foreigners (tourists) rarely or never are, expect to get stared at. And when i go places with my wife or her family i get stared at. It doesn’t bother me, it use to, but now i have fun with it

I became familiar with what we do to ethnic food here. It was obvious when I was in Italy, Japan and India.

But at one job we ate dim sum at the best place in Oakland. I also remember going to a restaurant and finding that the bok choy was served to Chinese people but cabbage was served to us.
[/QUOTE] And I LOVE bok choy!
Dadgummit!
Anyway, I can relate to being stared at - I was definitely stared at in some parts of Korea. Oh well. So was my son, now that I think of it. And he absolutely loves Korea.

I changed my auto insurance carrier. The new carrier was less expensive. The lower quote from the new carrier was to be expected. They wanted a new customer. I expected a big bump up in my second year.........I was not wrong.(so happy, I was correct)

The problem here is it's been a bad few years with fires, floods, storms and they use that as an excuse to bump up prices. And the favourite hobby of kids these days seems to be stealing cars and live streaming themselves doing doughnuts or baiting the cops into chasing them and live streaming that. And there's only really 2 insurance companies these days, all the other companies are just resellers so the thieving mongrels have a monopoly.
We've been cautioned kids around here are starting to do that, too.

You certainly don't look like a Panda and from what you've written here it's clear that the Chinese are taking sensible precautions against picnic basket theft.

Please don't compare dog that believe in free love to monopolists. Most dogs that have mixed parentage are not thieves. And the very few that are were caused by factor not their fault.

Leave meat unattended and pedigree or mongrel, they are theives

And I thought you were too nice a person to employ incorrect stereotypes. After all, how many religious people actually follow what the religions tell them? Of course during adolescence, some do counter surf but for the vast majority it's a passing phase. And beyond that, whose fault is it to place temptation in front of them. It's as much the tempter's fault as the one tempted if not more.

My dog would explain the fastest way to murder me for some bacon.
We brought home some farmer's market special dog treats. Coming back in the room our dog was asking for one by standing in the room and obviously sniffing. in the general direction of the goodies. Being a well trained human and because she was being polite, she got one.

This is also true when we make special sweet potato bacon chip dog cookies twice a year. She knows she'll get a piece of bacon after I've cooked it and then some cookies fresh out of the oven later.
